Mission Statement

The K.I.D.S. Ministry at Forest Park is here to encourage children to discover the love, truth and acceptance of Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose

We exist to provide opportunities that teach Biblical truths that will lead children into their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our programs are fun and exciting and are inviting to children currently attending church and children that have never attended church. Our teachers and leaders are dedicated to the mission of leading children to be the disciples of tomorrow.

Our Philosophy

  • We will show the love of Christ to every child.
  • We will lead every child in discovering who is Jesus Christ.
  • We will help each child see the truths in the scriptures.
  • We will lead and encourage each child to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • We will demonstrate an example of a Christian's life.
  • We will befriend every person who walks through the doors.
  • We will encourage each child to discover the wonderful and unique person that God has created.
  • We will lead each child in becoming more like Jesus.


Bible Basis

"…your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost."

And how from childhood you have known the sacred Scriptures that are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
